Piano

Learning piano or keyboard is one of the best ways to start and understand music. Whether your 5 or 85 it's never too late to start.

Lessons will be designed to the students interests.  in order to play there are basic skills that need to be learned;

• Technique

• Scales

• Chords

• Playing songs

• Reading music

• Writing music

• Understanding music

• Listening

• Performing​

Each lesson will have a mix of various activities to help develop a well rounded musician.

​

Students are required to have an instrument to play at home however an instrument will be provided for the lessons.  Preferred keyboards wil have weighted keys and touch sensitivity.  When starting out, at a minimum, a keyboard of 61 keys and touch sensitivity will do.
